Who we are

Founded in 2000, KMIT Solutions is a Twinsburg, OH based Software Company developed from the need for Zoos, Parks, Museums and Aquariums to have integrated solutions to help them manage many of their operational concerns. KMIT was the creation of G.B. Pillai, founder of plush toy industry leader K&M International and the Wild Republic Brand, which have been in business since 1979. During Mr. Pillai’s consultations with various family entertainment venues he found that they had numerous concerns regarding maximizing profit and minimizing operational costs. With this realization came the development of KMIT Solutions. Capitalizing on over 25 years of experience, the company was established to provide software solutions to boost revenues minimize costs and enhance the patron experience.

Currently many Zoos, Museums, Aquariums and Theme Parks do not have an integrated IT system that automates their key business processes. After several years of market research we have identified a lack of specialized, affordable, application software that covers the functional areas of gift shops, admissions, ticketing, membership, special events, and food shop management. Our newly designed system, with development based on numerous user inputs, provides a solution that automates and seamlessly integrates the key user functions. The culmination of our efforts has led to the creation of an application that executives and managers can utilize to make insightful decisions, improve their visitors’ experience, and increase revenues and productivity.
